This is a transportation update for Eastern Greenbrier Middle School and Greenbrier East High School.
Bus 14‑06 will not be running this morning.
We apologize for the inconvenience and encourage families to make alternate transportation arrangements if possible.
Students who normally ride Bus 14‑06 will be marked with an excused absence if they are unable to attend school today.
It’s bringing fresh inspiration — new ideas, bright moments, and a little extra sunshine throughout our schools.
Here’s to a season filled with growth, curiosity, and lots of good things ahead for our students, staff, and families. 🌷💛

Greenbrier County Schools received a 5-day waiver from the WVDE for days missed to winter weather.
Therefore, there will be no makeup days unless there are circumstances that would warrant closing schools from now to the end of the school year.
We’re celebrating the creativity and imagination our students bring to the world every day. This year’s theme — “The World Needs Art” — is the perfect reminder of how much their ideas, colors, and stories matter.
A sincere thank‑you to the citizens of Greenbrier County for supporting the arts in our schools through the school levy. Your support makes these opportunities possible.

This national month-long celebration celebrates the importance of music education for all students. THANK YOU to the dedicated music educators who help our students express their creativity in school, and to the citizens of Greenbrier County for supporting the arts in our schools through the school levy! #MusicMatters #UnitedThroughMusic #InspiredLearning #PublicSchoolProudWV

Our classrooms will be filled with stories, guest readers, and activities that spark imagination and build a lifelong love of reading.
We can’t wait to see students dive into new books, discover new characters, and experience the joy of reading together.
Happy Read Across America Day, GCS! 📚💚

Greenbrier County Schools is excited to celebrate the quest for school breakfast theme by spotlighting the healthy, delicious breakfasts our nutrition teams serve every day.
A good morning starts with a good meal — and breakfast at school helps students stay focused, energized, and ready to learn. Thank you to our incredible school nutrition staff for fueling our classrooms with fresh food and warm smiles!
Here’s to a week of great starts and even greater learning! 🌟
